Should I study for the CFA Exam with Schweser?

When people realize I have my CFA designation I get a few common questions.

1. Was it difficult?
2. Do I actually have to study 300+ hours?
3. Will passing get me a job?
4. Should I study alone or use Schweser?

There are a few more questions, but I'll answer these for now:

1. Yes it was bloody difficult, but doable as long as you study... 300+hours. So I answered two questions in one!
2. Passing will not get you a job. Really it will only help you stand out a little. Say you have two candidates for a job. One with her CFA designation and the other with 4 years of investment banking experience. Sorry, but...I am choosing the experienced one!
3. I used Schweser for level 2 and 3 and would say yes definitely. I wish I used it for level 1, it would have been so much easier.
